To connect the Ultimate Bluetooth Controller to a PC, there are two options: 2.4g wireless mode (X-input) and USB cable mode (X-input). For Nintendo Switch, the controller can be connected via Bluetooth mode, 2.4g mode with a receiver, or USB cable mode. To wake up the Switch with the Ultimate Bluetooth Controller, the controller must be in Bluetooth mode, and the home button should be pressed to turn on the controller, followed by shaking the controller to wake up the console in sleep mode.
The Ultimate Software supports the Ultimate Bluetooth Controller, and it can be downloaded from the 8BitDo website. When connecting the receiver to the PC, it is generally better to plug it into the dock and then connect the dock to the PC via a USB cable, as this is more stable and convenient for storing the receiver.
